Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

ACCEPTING THESE TERMS

These terms apply to your use of www.thenewbharat.co and to TNB events, contests and community spaces (together, the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

WHO CAN USE THE PLATFORM

You must be 18 or older to register on your own. Anyone under 18 may take part only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on their behalf.

OUR PURPOSE AND COMMUNITY CONDUCT

TNB is a neutral, fair and fearless platform for healthy discussion (तटस्थ - निष्पक्ष - निर्भीक). When you take part online or at an event, you agree not to:

Use hate speech, or abuse or threaten any person or group based on religion, caste, gender, region, language or any other identity
Harass, bully or intimidate other participants, speakers or volunteers
Knowingly share false information, or share content that is obscene, defamatory or unlawful
Disrupt events or misuse the microphone, stage or venue
Post anyone else's personal information without their consent
Use the Platform for commercial promotion or political campaigning without our written permission
We may remove content, stop a speaker, or refuse entry to anyone who breaks these rules.

EVENTS AND REGISTRATIONS

Event dates, venues, speakers and formats may change. We will try to inform registered attendees in advance.
Registration does not guarantee a seat where space is limited.
You are responsible for your own travel, belongings and safety at the venue.
By attending, you agree that you may appear in photos and videos that TNB publishes. Tell our team at the event if you do not want to be filmed.

CONTESTS

Each contest, such as the TNB Young Creators Challenge, has its own rules on eligibility, deadlines, judging and prizes. Those rules apply together with these terms. Entries must be your own original work. The judges' decisions are final. We may disqualify entries that break the contest rules or these terms.

CONTENT YOU SUBMIT

You keep ownership of the work you submit, such as contest entries, comments or recordings. You give TNB a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display, edit for length and share it on our website, social media and promotional material, with credit to you where practical. You confirm that you have the rights to everything you submit.

OUR CONTENT

The TNB name, logo, website design, text, photos and videos belong to The New Bharat or its licensors. You may share links to our content. You may not copy, reproduce or sell it without our written permission.

DONATIONS

Donations made through Support Us are voluntary and are not refundable, except where a payment was made in error. In that case, contact us within 7 days. [Donations to TNB are not eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G.]

VIEWS EXPRESSED

Speakers, panellists and participants share their own views. These do not represent the views of TNB or its Advisory Council. TNB does not endorse any political party or candidate.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website links to other sites such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

DISCLAIMER AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Platform is provided "as is". We try to keep information accurate but do not guarantee that it is complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, TNB is not liable for any indirect loss arising from your use of the Platform or attendance at our events. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service concerned.

CHANGES AND TERMINATION

We may update these terms at any time. If you keep using the Platform after a change, you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
